"High School of the Dead" Illustrator Draws For Light Novel

Shouji Satou, the illustrator of High School of the Dead manga, will draw illustrations for a light novel Tata no Mahou Tsukai.

He tweeted that he had wanted to try illustrations for a light novel once in his lifetime.

The novel written by Uper awarded the grand prize in Dengeki Shousetsu Taishou.
It is scheduled to be released on February 10th, 2018.

Shouji Satou is known for his illustration of High School of the Dead, his work Triage X.
Both, High School of the Dead and Triage X, inspired TV anime.
High School of the Dead ended up on forever hiatus due to the author, Daisuke Satou's death on March 22nd 2017.
Triage X has been serialized in Monthly Dragon Age since 2009.
The anime was aired from April to June 2016 with 10 episodes.
