Toonami (a late Saturday night adult-orientated animation block on Adult Swim) announced on their official Facebook page on Friday that One Piece will be taken off it's schedule starting on March 25 to be replaced by Tokyo Ghoul anime series on the same day.
One Piece was airing on Toonami since May 2013 (from episode 207). The premiere gathered 995.000 viewers.
1st October onward Toonami's programming block was pushed back by half an hour, and now runs on Saturdays from 12:00 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.
Recently "Dragon Ball Super" and "Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096" were added to the programming block (precisely starting on January 5). Toonami will also debut with Mamoru Oshii and Production I.G's five-part hybrid live-action/CG micro-series "Sand Whale and Me" six days from now (on March 18).
